Seminar 13A - Leading Transformational Change: Applied Change Management in Higher Education (separate registration is required)

Participants will engage in discussion and the development of an individualized plan for effectively leading change within their organization. They will review Kotter's eight-stage process for creating change, collaborate on how each stage applies to higher education, and apply the concepts in creating a plan to address a self-identified issue.

OUTCOMES: Recognize Kotter's eight-stage process for creating major change * Identify ways to apply Kotter's process to effect meaningful change within an institution * Develop a concrete, individual plan that could be used to facilitate or lead change that addresses a specific issue within your organization or institution
