At Indiana University, the rollout of two-factor authentication across eight campuses to all faculty, staff, student employees, and affiliates required efficient planning by a diverse set of stakeholders. This session will cover the phases of that planning, with an emphasis on collaboration between the IT Communications Office and Client Support division.

Outcomes: Plan a successful 2-factor authentication rollout for diversified audiences * Communicate the need for increased security and some user inconvenience yet garner acceptance across the institution * Use support and communication methods to reduce frustration and protect IT's reputation across the institution
