Building a Private Cloud for a Distributed Institution

In response to a growing need for stable, reliable, cost-effective, and readily expandable infrastructure services, Northwestern University IT department partnered with the IT teams at the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and the Northwestern University Library to create and pilot an infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) private cloud pilot. In this session, we'll detail the pilot experiences and lessons learned. We'll also discuss Northwestern University's planned path forward based on the pilot experience.
