Introducing the CAIT Matrix: A New Collaboration Process

The Collective for Academic Innovation and Transformation (CAIT), an ad hoc group, will present a taxonomy developed to assist faculty and academic technology support staff with managing internal seed grant awards and assessments, aligning internal grants with national initiatives, and locating potential cross-institutional collaborators. The matrix is currently being tested through tagging of institutionally sponsored seed grant projects. The objective is to create a resource that will enable easier identification of shared research interests across institutional boundaries in service of the scholarship of teaching, learning, and assessment.
