Teaching and Learning: 2016 in Retrospect and 2017 in Prospect

As a year draws to a close, it’s customary to take stock of the events of the past year and begin thinking about what might be in store for us in the coming year. In this webinar, ELI will continue its tradition of taking stock: what takeaways can we glean by reviewing the developments in postsecondary education that took place in 2016? And what do these developments portend for 2017? We’ll be joined by four community thought leaders to initiate the conversation and stock-taking. We invite you to join as well, and add your thoughts to the conversation about what counted in 2016 and what will count in 2017.

Outcomes:

1. Discuss key developments in higher ed teaching and learning in 2016
2. Consider the prospects for teaching and learning in 2017
3. Explore the implications of these developments and prospects
