Navigating Tight Financial Times: The Importance of IT Governance

Wednesday, March 30 | 3:15PM–4:05PM | Room 552 B
Session Type: Professional Development
In the current financial climate, IT leaders are being challenged to reduce expenses while somehow maintaining service levels and delivering new projects. But CIOs often don't have the processes or information necessary to advocate for the investments and changes required to meet these demands. In this presentation, we will explore practical first steps toward building a robust IT governance framework that can help determine and justify where budgets can be cut, where spending should be sustained, and where investments should be made in order to meet the institution's needs.
