In November 1999, The University of Texas at Austin determined that a campus portal must be developed for the 50,000 students by August 2000. Operating on Internet time, IT staff is integrating 100+ services and developing course pages. This post-mortem examines a large-scale development and cultural transformation project from multiple perspectives.
