Universities are selecting more application service provider or hosted solutions. Rather than implementing the system, IT staff members instead manage vendor relationships and contracts. Effective vendor management, contract language interpretation, contract performance tracking, and vendor negotiation skills are valued in a successful outsourcing environment and will be discussed in this presentation.
