Copyright Infringement from the Inside: Student Perspectives on Music Piracy

Interviews with 42 university undergraduates offer insight into anti-piracy efforts and why they may be failing. Education efforts are seen as phony and unconvincing, lawsuits as unlikely, and even college-supplied access to legal music services may perpetuate a view of media as free, offering little educational value.
