Learning Space Design

Monday, October 09, 2006 | 9:00PM–9:00PM
Session Type: Resources
This Constituent Group session will provide a forum to discuss topics ranging from what makes a physical space conducive to learning to the principles and processes of learning space design. Well-designed learning spaces are predicated on an understanding of the learning activities that must occur, the type of interaction desired, the needs of the discipline, and the learning outcomes sought. Join us and share your ideas and experience on how formal spaces and non-formal spaces impact teaching practices, learning activities and effectiveness, student interactions, as well as the campus sense of community.

Please bring your box lunch from the exhibit hall for this meeting.
