The Networking Policy Council is a newly formed advisory group of higher education leaders who focus on federal policy and its potential effects on the higher education community. Several important and comprehensive bills are under consideration in Congress and the outcome will shape communications policy, in particular Internet policy, for many years to come. This session will examine issues include preserving net neutrality, the rights of municipalities to operate their own networks, and universal service contributions among others.
