accessCeramics: A Digital Image Database Collaboratively Sourced Using Flickr

accessCeramics.org is a digital image collection for arts education that uses Flickr as its underlying digital asset management system. The project exemplifies the distributed acquisition of digital assets and metadata, the organizational use of a consumer Web 2.0 service, and a collaboration between an academic library and a faculty member.
