Social connections are essential to student retention and are increasingly occurring online. In collaboration with Inigral, ASU is leveraging student interest in social networking to increase retention through a campus-wide Facebook application that connects students based on shared academic interests and experiences. The application will have broad applicability in all types of academic institutions.
