Connecting the Dots: Alignment of Information Literacy Instruction to Course Learning Outcomes Through Concept Mapping

This poster will present a visualization technique for aligning librarian-initiated instruction to the learning objectives of university courses in the field of political science. Based on analysis of syllabi and course assignments, concept mapping software is used to contextualize and connect individual learning outcomes to librarians' teaching tools.
