In late 2008, members of the Sakai community, including the University of Cambridge and Georgia Tech, began to develop a major new version of Sakai. This session will describe the vision behind Sakai 3, demonstrate the software itself, and explain how a diverse group of institutions worked collaboratively to build a new type of academic collaboration and learning system.
