Wednesday, November 04, 2009 | 12:40PM–1:30PM | Korbel Ballroom 4A/B
Session Type: E09 Hybrid
As higher education organizations strive to tackle the topic of identity and access management, the nontechnical challenges, in particular IdM governance, have come to the forefront. While many issues related to IdM governance are institutionally and organizationally agnostic, challenges remain that reflect the culture of individual departments and campuses. In this session, utilizing its deep expertise in the higher education market, Burton Group will share its observations and general strategic recommendations for IdM governance within the higher education space spanning the past five years. Topics such as organizational structure, organizational complexity, regulatory adherence, cultural agility, and governance frameworks will be addressed.
