This presentation discusses the use of popular culture themes in a freshman English strategies course that incorporates information literacy components to develop skills, techniques, and strategies for retrieving information through a variety of video-based multimedia. Teachers' educational philosophy and student learning style preference are profiled to investigate adaptable instructional design.
