**1:30 pm - 3:10 pm: The Department of Energy's Perspectives on Cyberinfrastructure
The Department of Energy (DOE) will present a challenging example of how cyberinfrastructure can contribute to the success of a vibrant research community. This session will describe the DOE's approach to cyberinfrastructure, grounded in its focus on addressing a selected set of major science objectives with a nationwide set of researchers and facilities. The session will explore these issues in depth, as well as how DOE and CCI Working Group efforts might more fully cooperate.
