The SciLands in Second Life are a group of islands whose goal is making science more engaging to a broad audience. The directors of four island groups will discuss strategies for connecting virtual worlds to their classrooms: Biome and Genome (life sciences), Science School (physical sciences), and the NOAA islands (earth sciences).
