Seminar 14P - Optimizing IT Services for the Enterprise

Tuesday, November 03 | 2:00PM–5:30PM | Meeting Room 601
Session Type: E09 Hybrid, Resources
With budgets shrinking and expectations expanding, organizational efficiency is of paramount concern to IT leaders. In this seminar, learn how Ohio State increased its portfolio of central IT services and improved customer satisfaction during a period of declining revenue by radically reenvisioning its organizational structure and culture.

We will share the processes used to analyze, realign, and "unsilo" the 450-person organization that supports academic and administrative computing for the university. You will leave the seminar with concrete tools, suggestions, and plans for identifying your organizational strengths and weaknesses, assessing change capacity, centralizing and streamlining process management, and evaluating organizational effectiveness.
