Seminar 15A - Using Service Layers Instead of a Centralized/Decentralized Approach: How to Make IT Work

Tuesday, November 03 | 9:30AM–1:00PM | Meeting Room 601
Session Type: E09 Hybrid
Universities that employ both centralized and decentralized staff often report unacceptable and frustrating levels of conflict between these groups. This session will provide a conceptual framework that embraces both groups. It will offer strategies to enable you to have the right conversations and immediately benefit from a more effective IT service deployment. Though each university is different, the model is flexible enough that it can be adapted to your unique organizational culture and way of working.
