Strategies for Success in Disaster Recovery

An Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and mature IT recovery plan can help restore campus normalcy after a disaster. Presentations will examine the use of disaster planning and EOC deployment at LSU following the massive evacuations accompanying Hurricane Gustav in 2008 and Northern Virginia Community College's deployment of "EOCs in a Box" for major events outside Washington, D.C.
