The Moodle Experience: Embedding a Personal Librarian in Course Management Software

Marywood University Library began embedding a personal librarian in Moodle for selected courses in fall 2008. Collaborations with faculty and survey results indicating if this was successful and if demographics had an impact are discussed. Implications for the library's reference service and for the academic library community are addressed.
