Using Audio and Ink Recordings, Tablet PCs, and DyKnow to Maximize Class Time: Teaching Upside Down

Thursday, November 05, 2009 | 3:20PM–4:10PM | Korbel Ballroom 2B
Session Type: E09 Hybrid
We present a technique that is sometimes referred to as the upside-down classroom, which requires students to view mini-presentations before class. These presentations use text, ink, and audio to convey material which would normally be presented during class. Class time can be reallocated to active learning using Tablet PCs and DyKnow software.
