A New Direction in Student Computing: Developing Spaces and Services to Meet Students' Evolving Needs

The University of Washington is transitioning to a new model of student computing that reduces the number of general-access computing centers while developing new spaces and services to support students' use of laptops and netbooks on campus. In this presentation, we will share research findings, recommendations, new solutions, and lessons learned.
