Regarding institutional repositories, how often have we heard the saying "If you build it, they will not come?" The real challenge is not technological but rather social: getting people to comply and deposit their work into the repository. How can we most effectively build new infrastructures that facilitate the easy collection, organization, dissemination, and long-term preservation of the cultural and scholarly record?
