Avoiding an IT House of Cards: Building Your Own Solid Foundation

Friday, October 15 | 10:30AM–11:20AM | Meeting Room 204A
Session Type: E2010
Arguably there hasn't been a more challenging time than now to consider the "ideal" structure for IT organizations. A multitude of issues, challenges, and stressors affect our ability to create functional, effective, and sustainable IT structures. Among the many cards in our deck, we must consider the proverbial jokers, aces in the hole, cards up our sleeves, and face cards. At some point we must "show our own hand" as we create effective IT structures to ensure institutional and employee success. This presentation will discuss how to build strong IT structures that, unlike a house of cards, can't be easily toppled.
