Session Type:

CSU CI has been using collaboration technologies to support 3,200 students and 250 faculty and staff. With Cisco Access Control and Video Surveillance, CSU CI was able to integrate "single card" technology to better monitor student activity on campus through increased control of building access while achieving ease-of-use objectives by integrating door access to Cisco phones, which helped reduce management time for staff by allowing access control at any phone endpoint on campus. This presentation will share how CSU CI is accomplishing its objectives and discuss how unified communications and physical security are improving education and administration.
