Collaboration: A Must, or a Time-Consuming Bust?

Wednesday, October 13, 2010 | 11:30AM–12:20PM | Ballroom D
Session Type: E2010
Collaboration is touted as everything from a pathway to innovation to a financial must-do, given the current economic climate. Examples of collaboration include joint development projects, shared connectivity, jointly appointed staff, and shared library collections and access. Do the realities match the hype, or is collaboration a time-consuming draw on already constrained resources? Is collaboration a key to innovation? What is your experience?
