Enterprise Faculty Knowledge Management Solutions

Wednesday, October 13 | 2:30PM–3:30PM | Hall A/B, Table 21
Session Type: E2010
Universities are increasingly interested in creating enterprise faculty knowledge management systems. The success of these systems depends on the strength of the data model and the ease of data entry, as well as integration with university data systems and automation of profile maintenance. Another key aspect of success is preparing the groundwork for acceptance of such a system among faculty and administrators. We will present an enterprise solution developed by Thomson Reuters to gather and manage service, teaching, and research information across the university and provide practical use cases for implementation and change management.
