Successful adoption of new teaching and learning technologies in higher education requires the consensus of two subcultures, the technologist subculture and the academic subculture. This session will present the results of a survey of chief administrative officers and CIOs administered in 2006 and 2009 that compares key drivers of OSS adoption.
