Measuring and Validating Attempts to Green Columbia's Data Center

Columbia University began a pilot in April 2009 to measure energy usage and verify the benefits of techniques to improve energy efficiency of our data center. This presentation will provide an assessment of those efforts and should help attendees understand what works and what doesn't when trying to green a typical university data center.
