Media Space: Instructor-Driven Publishing

Wednesday, October 13 | 2:30PM–3:30PM
Session Type: E2010
Academic and Research Technologies supports faculty in their primary roles as instructors and researchers. Media Space is ART's system for managing and delivering collections of video and audio. Media Space helps instructors create and organize a collection of media clips and make them available to research colleagues, students, and other faculty via iTunes U or the CMS. Instructors have found that students in courses that use video have higher scores, and students have let instructors know that adding a video component to courses helps them learn. This presentation will discuss how Media Space promotes teaching and learning.
