Organizing a Central, High-Performance Computing Service

We will explore institutional experiences in developing high-performance computing infrastructure and support services, ranging from institutions where HPC services grew organically from research team investments to those where a new service was designed from scratch. The presentations will cover key decisions regarding organization, staffing, support, funding, hardware, and software.
