Begun in 1990, the Campus Computing Project is the largest continuing study of the role of computing, e-learning, and information technology in U.S. higher education. This session will present the results of the 2011 Campus Computing Survey, including new data on security issues, strategic and financial planning for IT, cloud computing, impact of budget cuts, instructional integration of IT, campus IT standards, transitions in the LMS market, systems, deployment of mobile apps, migration to open-source applications, compliance with the HEOA mandates on P2P issues, and outsourced IT services.
