Conducting Formal Research for IT Security Communication

IT communicators should use the most effective channels for achieving action, but how do we really know what is effective? A formal, mixed-methods study will be presented as a model for incorporating rigorous academic research into IT decision making. Implications for cross-disciplinary scholarship, staff development, and security information sharing will be discussed.
