Diversity in IT

Higher education IT units are increasingly multicultural, serving communities where demographics (race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and age) continue to change, bringing benefits and challenges. We will engage in open dialogue and create avenues for collaboration, mentorship, and advocacy for diversity issues. Topics may include the benefits of multicultural organizations, hiring, inclusion and exclusion issues, access to key players, mentoring, training and education, social cohesion and relationships, and pay equity.
