What is eduroam? It's a worldwide system that interconnects campus directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, etc.) to allow users from different institutions to easily join Wi-Fi networks when traveling between schools. eduroam leverages standard protocols already in use in most infrastructures: IEEE 802.1X for authentication and WPA2 for wireless encryption.
