In 2010, Coppin State University converted from an on-premise identity management implementation to a cloud-based service, regaining 1.5 FTEs. This presentation will help other institutions by discussing the processes and best practices developed by Coppin to quantify the risks and rewards of cloud-based identity and access management and vet cloud-based IAM provider and service offerings.
