Wednesday, October 19 | 3:30PM–4:20PM | Meeting Room 103C
This session will examine the impact that tools like Twitter and Foursquare have on cultural theories regarding "spatial practice" (Lefebvre and de Certeau). The user can now enact place through utterance; this shift in expression allows a reconfiguration of virtual spaces. After a theoretical discussion, we'll conclude by practicing virtual space online.
