Seminar 02Z - ITANA Face2Face 2011: Building Enterprise Architecture on Campus
PLEASE NOTE: Separate registration and fee is required to attend this seminar.

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 | 9:30AM–5:30PM | Grand Ballroom C, Fifth Level Marriott Hotel
Session Type: E11
In this full-day workshop focused on enterprise architecture in higher education, we will work together to define "the road to value" for starting an EA practice. First, Where do you start? How do you sell your campus on EA? Where in the organization should EA report? The session will move on to growing an EA practice. What does maturity look like? What are the patterns and anti-patterns? How do you build effective governance? Together, we will focus on professional development. How do you lead as an architect? How do you build influence? How do you work with business partners across campus to create strategic change? When you leave, you will have defined goals for your own practice as an architect, and we will have defined a suite of topics and projects for ITANA.org to pursue over the next year. Join your peers for an interactive, group-work-filled day.
