Seminar 08A - Benefits Realization from the IT Portfolio

This workshop will introduce a benefits-led approach to IT portfolio management, a key driver of value from information technology. Participants will be introduced to the portfolio model that links IT investments with strategic priorities. They will be able to apply the ideas to help align priorities with senior management colleagues and manage the portfolio of IT investments in their organization. As a result of attending the session participants will be able to use a portfolio management framework to classify opportunities and help set priorities for investment, enhance benefits realization from projects and existing applications, and build engagement with colleagues by using the portfolio to help focus on strategic objectives and create a shared understanding of priorities.
