PLEASE NOTE: Separate registration and fee is required to attend this seminar.

Tuesday, October 18 | 2:00PM–5:30PM | Meeting Room 108B
Session Type: E11
RACE (Research, Analysis, Communication, Evaluation) is one methodology for developing a strategic plan. Originally devised as a public relations tool, this protocol has been found useful for deploying instructional technology to end users. This session will focus specifically on the deployment of a new learning management system for students and faculty. During this interactive session, participants will be guided through the RACE process to create a strategic plan for their campus to deploy a new LMS to their faculty and students. Topics covered will include tactics for communicating with stakeholders, fostering an alliance with the vendor, preparing groups for the transition, making data-driven decisions, and evaluating deployment effectiveness. By the conclusion of this interactive session, each participant will have a schema to take back to campus, where it will serve as a catalyst for a comprehensive plan.
