In times where students are faced with less time than before to finish their education, new ways of using rich media can help. Incorporating the latest evidence in research on the potential impact of rich media, combined with an approach to blend pedagogy, technology and organizational tools, HE in the Netherlands achieved promising results. For enduring benefits a multidisciplinary rich media platform needs to be implemented, an activity that requires specific communication approaches. The outcomes of the OASE project (part of the national e-Learning Action Plan) will be shared with the audience and participants will learn how to build effective rich media combinations. Communication strategies and messages to ease institutional cooperation to invest in a sustainable rich media platform will be discussed. Participants will leave the workshop with deepened understanding of multidisciplinary rich media solutions and a set of actions to introduce, communicate and implement these successfully in their university.
