Whether your data resides in a campus data center, is held by a third party in a hosted system, or is distributed in the cloud, you will be confronted with situations that require strategic and effective decisions regarding your information assets. Data governance is intended to address data quality, data management, data policies, privacy and security, business process management, and risk management surrounding the handling of data.
