Transforming Research in the Cloud: A Harvard Medical School Case Study

Biomedical informatics programs at Harvard Medical School, Nile University (Cairo, Egypt), and University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee demonstrate innovations in flexible computing to achieve educational, research, and interinstitutional collaboration. We developed and used Amazon Web Services cloud computing resources, management practices, and tools that support a wide assortment of academic research and educational programs.
