Vendor-Higher Ed Software License Partnering in the Cloud

Wednesday, October 19, 2011 | 11:30AM–12:20PM | Meeting Room 108A
Session Type: E11
Cloud computing costs are decreased by lowered infrastructure and labor costs. Software vendors' concerns often result from limited information about campus use of private clouds, so licenses do not always lead to maximum benefits. We will cover the issues from both sides, involving the audience to work toward mutual benefits. Conference attendees involved in licensing software or acquiring licensed software are encouraged to attend this session and participate.
