VIVO: A Semantic Web Network Enabling Collaboration Among Scientists

The University of Florida and Weill Cornell Medical College have implemented VIVO, an open-source semantic web application that promotes researcher collaboration within and across institutions by enabling local storage, control, and automatic update of data on interests and activities. Participants will explore VIVO while learning the perspectives of different institutional implementations.
