A variety of initiatives are under way at the U.S. Department of Education to leverage technology to accelerate the pace of innovation in higher education. Come join a conversation with ED's Office of Educational Technology about innovation projects including the open data initiative (aka Datapalooza), personalized learning, open badges, and Education Innovation Clusters. Participants will gain a better understanding of the range of ED's efforts to transform American education through technology to improve access, promote open educational resources, increase collaboration, and support new types of research and development.
