DIY E-Books Using Open-Source Tools

This session will introduce several resources and tools for designing and developing engaging and accessible e-books. We will demonstrate how to create one chapter of an e-book using free open-source products in an .epub format, which can be viewed on a mobile device or computer.

Learn major design decisions, concerning content organization, sources for materials, and how much time you should expect to spend in the creation process. | Discover free open-source resources for developing e-books. | Discuss technical considerations.
